At Hip Pop we add a living culture to all of our drinks to support gut health - including our Gut Lovin' Soda. We harness a bacteria called Bacillus Coagulans which has undergone rigorous scientific studies. You get these live, active cultures added to every can, as well as 1/4 of your daily dose of fibre!
Unfortunately no. Just like beer, you get the mass-made stuff and then you get carefully craft-brewed sodas. Our Gut Lovin' Soda is craft brewed, using 100% natural ingredients, in small batches on our beautiful farm in Cheshire. All of the production processes are done internally at our brewery, from the brewing itself to the canning of the soda, and packaging and distribution of the drinks.
A functional drink can be broadly defined as any drink with added health benefits, we add 1/4 of your daily dose of prebiotic fibre (8g per can). Also, we add a live culture called Bacillus Coagulans which has undergone rigorous scientific studies and is known to actively support gut health. So yes, Gut Lovin' Soda can be considered a functional drink.
